Rant: Define Noise

Recently, our company posted a memo about "loud singing" in the office which was considered "noise".

Just a question, aren't siesta moments also considered noise?

Everyone is guilty in both acts. We sing in our workstations to kill the boredom and sleepiness each of us experiences while doing our tasks. Others chat to kill time.

I am against nobody, just the actions taken by some. And i think it is unfair to those who are abiding the rule to avoid noisiness while others create it.

"They" have been running after those who sings even if it is just a whisper but they ignore the loud siesta moments in the office. Kinda bias.

If they want to keep it fair, let all play the game.

"KEEP QUIET" or "OBSERVE SILENCE" should be implemented to all and to some.
