"You have to promise you won't fall in love with me... "This is a heart-warming movie about the transformation of a character, Landon Carter (Shane West) who falls in love with someone who crosses his path, a fellow tutor, Jamie Sullivan (Mandy Moore). Landon learns concepts of faith, forgiveness, and reconciliation in interactions with his high school friends.
The plot: there is an initial rejection of Landon as one who would even talk to Jamie, but he begins to accept her as a friend. The stress increases as he walks away from his social group into a deep relationship, only to find it is only temporary.
